To celebrate their 10-year anniversary, the Society for Longitudinal and Lifecourse Studies (SLLS) will host a week-long event consisting of online talks, symposiums, interviews and more. The event will run from 5 - 9 October 2020.
About this event
To mark their 10 year anniversay, SLLS have put together a an exciting programme combining both pre-recorded and live events scheduled to take place throughout the week.
As part of their pre-recorded events programmes, the society will publish a series of videos including a keynote talk by Loes Keijsers (Tilburg University), an interview with John Bynner, the first president of SLLS, and a memorial lecture remembering Harvey Goldstein who passed away earlier this year. A poster session consisting of nine presentations of research using longitudinal data will also be made available.
All video recordings will be made available from 09:00 (BST) on Monday 5 October 2020.
The programme of live events will take place throughout the week (5-9 October) and will include the annual SLLS general meeting, the SLLS Policy Group meeting, and the SLLS Early Career Network meeting.
Two live workshops have also been planned during the week. The first, led by Alita Nandi, will introduce delegates to household panel surveys and Understanding Society. The second workshop, to be led by Lisa Calderwood, will showcase international longitudinal studies.
