To celebrate their 10-year anniversary, the Society for Longitudinal and Lifecourse Studies (SLLS) hosted a week-long event consisting of online talks, symposiums, interviews and more.
About this event
To mark their 10 year anniversay, SLLS put together a an exciting programme combining both pre-recorded and live events.
As part of their pre-recorded events programmes, the society published a series of videos including a keynote talk by Loes Keijsers (Tilburg University), an interview with John Bynner, the first president of SLLS, and a memorial lecture remembering Harvey Goldstein who passed away earlier this year. A poster session consisting of nine presentations of research using longitudinal data was also made available.
The programme of live events included the annual SLLS general meeting, the SLLS Policy Group meeting, and the SLLS Early Career Network meeting.
Two live workshops were also planned during the week. The first, led by Alita Nandi, introduced delegates to household panel surveys and Understanding Society. The second workshop, to be led by Lisa Calderwood, will showcase international longitudinal studies.
