Registration is now open for Understanding Society’s Scientific Conference that will run from Tuesday 21st July to Thursday 23rd July at the University of Essex. The conference provides an international forum for the exchange of research based on longitudinal data, in particular using household panel studies.
An important aim of the event is to bring together people from different disciplines and to share research covering a broad range of themes including health, education, poverty, survey methods, ethnicity, environment, employment and wealth. There is also a series of training courses, drop-in sessions and workshops including:

- The Socio-Cultural Integration of New Immigrants in Europe
- Longitudinal modelling with longitudinal households
- United Kingdom Longitudinal Studies: Research, Evidence and Impact
