The Department of Social Science is seeking two experienced Communications Managers to lead the Impact & Communications Teams for the Centre for Longitudinal Studies (CLS) and CLOSER (Cohort & Longitudinal Studies Enhancement Resources).

The candidates will lead diverse portfolios of public relations work, spanning media relations, events, public affairs, digital communications, stakeholder relations, marketing, and public engagement.
Person specification
You will have significant experience of developing, delivering and evaluating successful communications strategies for an organisation or large-scale project. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are expected, with the ability to understand and translate complex content for a range of audiences, including academics, policymakers, third sector, think tanks, practitioners, media and the general public. The successful candidates must be experienced in project, budget and team management, and be able to adapt to changing circumstances quickly and effectively.
