Call for new members to join the ESRC’s Strategic Advisory Network is now open.
The ESRC are currently recruiting up to 19 members to join their Strategic Advisory Network (SAN).
This pool of experts will provide advice in various areas to help the ESRC identify and take advantage of opportunities to enable impact through their research, training, data infrastructure and knowledge exchange portfolios. Appointments to the SAN will usually be for up to three years with the possibility of extension up to a further three years. Appointments begin with effect from April 2021.
The ESRC welcome applications from professionals in the public, private and third sectors who are familiar with the use and application of research evidence, as well as from academics, including early and mid-career researchers, from across the broad spectrum of the social sciences.
They particularly encourage applications from women, those with disabilities, members of minority ethnic groups, and other groups who are currently or historically under-represented on ESRC’s groups, networks and panels.
Applications must be made online. The closing date for applications is 16:00 (GMT), Tuesday 19 January 2021.
